The 2023 Taça de Portugal Final was the last match of the 2022–23 Taça de Portugal, which decided the winner of the 83rd season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in Portugal, Portuguese football. It was played on 4 June 2023 at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, Portugal, Oeiras, between Primeira Liga sides S.C. Braga, Braga and FC Porto, Porto. Braga played their eight final in the competition, having last appeared in the 2021 Taça de Portugal final, 2021 final when they defeated S.L. Benfica, Benfica 2–0 for their third title. Porto played the decisive match for the 33rd time and second consecutive season, having beaten C.D. The 2022–23 Taça de Portugal (also known as Taça de Portugal Placard for sponsorship reasons) was the 83rd edition of the Taça de Portugal, the premier single-elimination tournament, knockout competition in Football in Portugal, Portuguese football. A total of 152 clubs competed in this edition, including all teams from the top four tiers of the Portuguese football league system – excluding reserve or B teams, which were not eligible – and representatives of the fifth-tier Portuguese District Championships, District leagues and cups. The competition began on 9 September 2022 with the first-round matches involving teams from the third, fourth and fifth tiers, and concluded on 4 June 2023 with the final at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, Portugal, Oeiras. Iuri José Picanço Medeiros (born 10 July 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Hungarian club Újpest as a winger.
