2023 Tartan Pro Tour
The 2023 Tartan Pro Tour, titled as the 2023 Farmfoods Tartan Pro Tour for sponsorships reasons, was the fourth season of the Tartan Pro Tour, a third-tier tour recognised by the European Tour. Challenge Tour feeder status In December 2022, it was announced that the Tartan Pro Tour and the Clutch Pro Tour would become official feeder tours to the Challenge Tour in place of the now-defunct PGA EuroPro Tour. The Tartan Pro Tour would offer Challenge Tour status to the leading player on the Order of Merit. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2023 season. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Pound sterling. The leading player on the Order of Merit earned status to play on the 2024 Challenge Tour. Rhys Thompson (born 19 July 1996) is an English international judoka. He has represented England at the Commonwealth Games and won a bronze medal. Biography Thompson is a double British champion, winning the half-heavyweight title at the British Judo Championships in 2018 and 2021. He has twice won medals at the European Open. In 2022, he was selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham where he competed in the Judo at the 2022 Commonwealth Games – Men's 100 kg, men's 100 kg, winning the bronze medal. Sam Locke (golfer)
Sam Locke (born 11 August 1998) is a Scottish professional golfer. He came to prominence by winning the Silver Medal, as the leading amateur, at the 2018 Open Championship. Amateur career Locke won the 2017 Scottish Amateur beating Ryan Lumsden, 9 and 8, in the final, after being 10-up after the first 18 holes. Locke qualified for the 2018 Open Championship by winning the Final Qualifying at The Renaissance Club with rounds of 69 and 66. He was the only amateur to qualify through Final Qualifying and joined three other amateurs in the field. He just made the cut, after rounds of 72 and 73, the only amateur to do so, and won the Silver Medal as the leading amateur after further rounds of 70 and 78. He turned professional after the Open Championship. Adam Henry Chapman (born 29 November 1989) is a Northern Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Retford United. Born in Doncaster, he started his career with Sheffield United but failed to break into the first team and was loaned to Oxford United before joining them on a permanent basis in 2009. Chapman served a prison sentence in 2010 after being found guilty of causing a death by dangerous driving but rejoined Oxford on his release. He was subsequently loaned to Newport County and Mansfield Town before joining Newport on a permanent basis in 2013. He signed for Mansfield Town on a permanent basis for the 2015–16 season, playing for one season before moving into non-league football.
