2023 Swedish Speedway Season
The 2023 Swedish Speedway season is the 2023 season of motorcycle speedway in Sweden. In February 2023, Masarna pulled out of the 2023 Elitserien due to financial difficulties. They were the second club in two successive years to have pulled out of the league. Individual Individual Championship The 2023 Swedish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2023 version of the Swedish Individual Speedway Championship. The title was won by Freddie Lindgren. The final was held at the Skrotfrag Arena in Målilla on 27 June 2023. 2022 Swedish Speedway Season
The 2022 Swedish speedway season was the 2022 season of speedway in Sweden. In March 2022, Vetlanda were declared bankrupt and would not compete during the season. Individual Individual Championship The 2022 Swedish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2022 version of the Swedish Individual Speedway Championship. The title was won by Oliver Berntzon. The final was held at the Motorstadium in Linköping on 28 June 2022. U21 Championship Team Team Championship Smederna won the Elitserien and were declared the winners of the Swedish Speedway Team Championship. Valsarna won the Allsvenskan (second-tier league). The club's official name is Kumla MSK and it was founded in 1936 which makes the club one of the oldest motorsport clubs in Sweden. Dackarna is a motorcycle speedway club from Målilla in Sweden who compete in the Swedish Elitserien. Their home track since 1993 has been the Skrotfrag Arena which was the venue for the Grand Prix of Scandinavia and is the current venue for the Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden. They ride in the Elitserien and are six times champions of Sweden. History 1935 to 1964 The team was founded in May 1935 as Målilla Motorklubb and in 1949 renamed itself Dackarna (in honour of Nils Dacke) and the club began league racing. The Swedish Speedway Team Championship is the team championship of motorcycle speedway, speedway in Sweden. History The Championship was introduced in 1950. In 1982 the Championship was renamed with a new league called the Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien being introduced. Jonatan Grahn
Jonatan Grahn (born 15 October 2000) is a speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career Grahn came to prominence in 2020, when he reached the final and finished fifth in the 2020 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. The following year in 2021, he represented Sweden in the Team Speedway Junior World Championship final. In 2022, he recorded a fourth place finish in Team Junior European Championship and rode for Indianerna in the Swedish Eliserien (the highest league in Sweden). Anton Karlsson (speedway Rider)
Anton Karlsson (born 20 July 2000) is a Motorcycle speedway, speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career Karlsson came to prominence in 2018, when he won the silver medal at the Swedish Under 21 Championship. He also helped Sweden reach the final of the 2018 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. The following year in 2019 he won a bronze at the Swedish U21 event. Karlsson also competed for Sweden in the finals of the 2018 and 2020 Team Speedway Junior European Championship, Team Junior European Championship.
