2023 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The 2023 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the thirty-seventh season of the premier German motor racing championship and also the twenty-fourth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. It was the third season of the DTM to be run under Group GT3 regulations, and the first season with ADAC as the promoter after ITR ceased operations at the end of the previous year. Lausitzring
The Lausitzring (formally known as the Dekra Lausitzring for ownership reasons) is a race track located near Klettwitz (a civil parish of Schipkau, Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) in the state of Brandenburg in northeast Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. It was originally named Lausitzring as it is located in the region the Germans call Lausitz (Lusatia), but was renamed EuroSpeedway Lausitz for better international communication from 2000 to 2010. The EuroSpeedway has been in use for motor racing since 2000. Among other series, DTM (German Touring Car Championship) takes place there annually. It also used to host the Superbike World Championship. The Lausitzring has a feature which is unique in continental Europe: a high-speed oval race track, as used in the United States by NASCAR and IndyCar. Jasin Ferati (born 2 August 2003) is a Swiss racing driver with Macedonian Albanian parents from Gostivar. He is the reigning Porsche Sports Cup Suisse champion, having previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship. Career Karting Ferati made his karting debut in the Swiss Karting Championship in 2016, where he finished 13th. He then finished second in the X30 Junior class the following year, losing out to Mike Müller by 131 points. The Swiss driver made his first appearance at the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship, where he finished 43rd with the Schumacher Racing Team. He stayed in karts until 2019, where he also competed in the Karting World Championship. Bastian Buus (born 20 July 2003) is a Danish racing driver currently competing in the 2023-24 Asian Le Mans Series for Earl Bamber Motorsport. He is a part of the Porsche Junior Program. He also is a Team Danmark athlete. Buus is the 2023 Porsche Supercup champion. Harry King (born 20 January 2001) is a British racing driver, who currently competes in the Porsche Supercup for BWT Lechner Racing. King has previously competed in full seasons of the Ginetta Junior Championship and the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, winning the series championship in the latter, in 2019. In 2020, King won twelve out of sixteen races in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, to take the series title with a round to spare. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Austria, Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout.
