2023 Netball Quad Series
The 2023 Netball Quad Series was the eighth Netball Quad Series of test matches, contested by four of the five highest ranked nations in netball. The series was played in South Africa during January 2023, several months before the 2023 Netball World Cup held in the same venue. Australia were the series champions, defeating New Zealand in the final by 56–50 to retain their title. It was Australia's seventh Quad Series trophy. New Zealand goal shooter Grace Nweke was named as the player of the series. The series was broadcast in South Africa on SuperSport, Fox Sports in Australia, Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, and Sky Sport in New Zealand. Cape Town International Convention Centre
The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) is a convention centre in Cape Town, South Africa. The centre opened in June 2003. It is run as a partnership between the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape government. Venues The centre takes up approximately on the city’s Foreshore and is within easy reach of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, major hotels and the rest of the city centre. The CTICC is served by the Westin Grand Hotel located on the same premises in the north-western corner, and is situated close to the city centre. Natalie Metcalf
Natalie Metcalf (née Haythornthwaite; born 9 December 1992) is an English netball player. She was part of the England squad that won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Metcalf played for Manchester Thunder and Wasps Netball in the English Superleague, winning consecutive premierships with the Wasps in 2017 and 2018. Jo Weston
Joanna Weston (born 14 February 1994) is an Australian netball player for the Australian Diamonds and Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball league. She was part of the Diamonds side that won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Weston has been a member of the Diamonds squad since her debut at the Constellation Cup in 2015. She was also in the Australian team at the 2019 Netball World Cup, finishing runners up to New Zealand. Cara Koenen
Cara Koenen (born 27 February 1996) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Sunshine Coast Lightning. Koenan was a foundation player at the Lightning ahead of the club's inaugural season in 2017. She has remained at the club since that time and was most recently re-signed for the 2020 season. Tara Hinchliffe (born 25 May 1998) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Queensland Firebirds. She also serves as the vice-president of the Australian Netball Players’ Association. Hinchliffe was signed by the Firebirds in June 2017, having previously been captain and MVP of the Queensland under 19 side at that year's Australian National Netball Championships. Paige Amber Hadley (born 26 August 1992) is an Australian international netball player.
