2023 Maryland Cycling Classic
The 2023 Maryland Cycling Classic (known as the Maryland Cycling Classic, presented by UnitedHealthcare for sponsorship reasons) was the second edition of the Maryland Cycling Classic. It was held on 3 September 2023 as part of the 2023 UCI ProSeries calendar. 2023 UCI ProSeries
The 2023 UCI ProSeries is the fourth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. Toms Skujiņš (born 15 June 1991) is a Latvian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In 2013 and 2015, Skujiņš received the Cyclist of the Year award presented by Latvian Cycling Federation. In 2014, Skujiņš dominated the Canadian race Tour de Beauce, winning its queen stage atop Mont Mégantic and the last stage. Lucas Hamilton (born 12 February 1996) is an Australian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Hamilton qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and rode in the Men's Road Race. The men's road racers had a tough time in the conditions and he finished 71st. Early years Hamilton began cycling as a 12-years-old with the Ararat and Districts Cycling Club in Victoria. Mattias Skjelmose Jensen (born 26 September 2000) is a Danish professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . A promising youth rider, Skjelmose finished in top positions in junior categories of major races, and won the Tour du Pays de Vaud in 2018.
