2023 Macau Formula 4 Race
The 2023 Macau Formula 4 Race, formerly the 2023 Macau Asia Formula 4, was a Formula 4 (F4) motor race held on the Guia Circuit in Macau on 12 November 2023, as part of the 2023 Macau Grand Prix. It was the fourth F4 race in Macau, and it was an invitational, non-championship round of the 2023 Formula 4 South East Asia Championship. The event featured two races: a seven-lap qualifying race to determine the starting grid for the twelve-lap final race. The race had 23 drivers and 11 teams. SJM Theodore Prema Racing's Arvid Lindblad, won the event from pole position after winning the qualification race earlier that day. Lindblad led every lap of the race, which was hampered by inclement weather in the morning and included repeated deployments of the safety car due to driver accidents. Formula 4
FIA Formula 4, also called FIA F4, is an open-wheel racing car category intended for junior drivers. There is no global championship, but rather individual nations or regions can host their own championships in compliance with a universal set of rules and specifications. The category was created by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)—the International sanctioning and administrative body for motorsport—as an entry-level category for young drivers, bridging the gap between karting and Formula 3. The series is a part of the FIA Global Pathway. Formula 4 South East Asia Championship
The Formula 4 South East Asia Championship was a formula racing series run to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was held over 2016 and 2017 and the last one was held in 2019. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 was to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Wing Chung "Andy" Chang (, born 26 October 1996 in Macau) is a racing driver from Macau. He is currently competing in the China Formula 4 Championship. He formerly competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Miki Koyama
is a Japanese people, Japanese List of female racing drivers, female racing driver. She is currently competing in the 2022 Formula Regional Japanese Championship, 2022 season of Formula Regional Japanese Championship, where she prematurely clinched the title with three races to spare. 2023 Formula Regional European Championship
The 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship featured a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the fifth season of the championship and the third after a merger with Formula Renault Eurocup which resulted to the change of the engine supplier to Alpine. Martinius Kleve Stenshorne (; born 2 February 2006) is a Norwegian racing driver who is competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Pulse-Eight. Halo (safety Device)
The halo is a driver crash-protection system used in open-wheel racing series, which consists of a curved bar placed to protect the driver's head. The first tests of the halo were carried out in 2016 and in July 2017. Since the 2018 season the FIA has made the halo mandatory on every vehicle in Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula Regional, Formula E and also Formula 4 as a new safety measure.
