The 2023 Ligier European Series was the fourth season of the Ligier European Series. The six–event season began at Circuit de Barcelona–Catalunya on 21 April, and ended at Algarve International Circuit on 21 October. Ligier European Series
The Ligier European Series is a European sports car racing endurance series inspired by the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and organized by Ligier Automotive in collaboration with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). Created in 2020, it is a one-design racing, one-make championship, featuring Ligier JS P4 sports prototypes and Ligier JS2 R coupés. It races alongside the European Le Mans Series and Le Mans Cup, serving as the third tier in the ACO's global endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing ladder. Classes The Ligier European Series is divided into two classes: JS P4 and JS2 R. JS P4 Built in 2017, the Ligier JS P4 is the sports prototype car of the championship, designed as a step between the Group CN and LMP3 categories. James Winslow (born 16 April 1983) is a British professional car racing driver who races at Le Mans 24 Hours. A ten-time Motorsport champion member of the British Racing Drivers' Club, he competes in Europe, Australia & Asia in Le Mans LMP & GT cars. Ian Aguilera (born 14 March 2007 in Guadalajara) is a Mexican racing driver currently racing in the LMP3 class of the European Le Mans Series for EuroInternational. Aguilera is the 2019 Radical World Finals champion in the Pro1500 class and has been a member of Escudería Telmex since 2019. Early career Racing in karts from 2016 to 2019, Aguilera most notably won the 2019 Nacional Formula Karts title in the X30 Junior category and represented Mexico in that year's IAME International Final. Louis Rossi
Louis Rossi (born 23 June 1989 in Le Mans) is a French former Grand Prix motorcycle racer, best known for winning the 2012 French Grand Prix in the Moto3 class. He has also previously competed in the French 125GP Championship (where he finished runner-up in 2007), the Spanish 125GP Championship, and the Endurance FIM World Championship. Steve Zacchia (born 15 August 1982 in Yverdon-les-Bains) is a Swiss racing driver, currently competing in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup for Hope Racing. Early career Zacchia began go-karting in 1998 when he finished fourth in the Swiss Regional Championship in Category B. He raced in Category A in 1999 finishing third in the standings. In 2000, he started competing in European Championships and getting into the finals of the Winfield World Challenge. Adam Ali (born 11 July 2004) is a Canadian racing driver. He currently competes for EuroInternational in the LMP3 class of the European Le Mans Series. Career Ali competed in karting during his formative years, most notably winning the Canadian National Championship and representing his nation at the 2021 Rotax World Finals. 2023 European Le Mans Series
The 2023 European Le Mans Series was the twentieth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 23 April and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 22 October. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. The season was the last for the LMGTE class.
