2023 La Pedrera TCR World Tour Round
The 2023 La Pedrera TCR World Tour round was the sixth round of 2023 TCR World Tour. It was held on 25–27 August 2023 at the Autódromo José Carlos Bassi in Villa Mercedes, Argentina. The event was also the seventh round of 2023 TCR South America Touring Car Championship. Mikel Azcona won the dramatic race on Saturday, with his teammate Norbert Michelisz completing a 1-2 for BRC Hyundai; and Néstor Girolami won the race on Sunday. The Lynk & Co 03 TCR is a racing car developed by Cyan Racing, which has also developed Volvo, having won the WTCC in 2017 which, like Lynk & Co, is part of the Geely group. Frédéric Vervisch ( ; born 10 August 1986 in Kortrijk) is a Belgian racing driver who currently races in the GT World Challenge Europe. Santiago Urrutia Lausarot (born 30 August 1996) is an Uruguayan racing driver. He currently competes in the World Touring Car Cup, driving for Cyan Performance Lynk & Co. He formerly competed in Indy Lights, and was the 2015 Pro Mazda series champion. Thed Björk (born 14 December 1980 in Vretstorp, Örebro) is a Swedish racing driver, and 2017 World Touring Car Champion. Other notable titles include the 2006 Swedish Touring Car Championship and the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. He also finished second in 2005 and 2009, and third in the 2008 STCC and the 2012 TTA – Racing Elite League. José Manuel "Manu" Sapag (born September 28, 1995, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine motor racing driver. Racing career Sapag began his career in 2014 in the Fórmula Metropolitana, and the next year he reached a podium.
