2023 Korn Ferry Tour
The 2023 Korn Ferry Tour is the 33rd season of the Korn Ferry Tour, the official development tour to the PGA Tour. Changes for 2023 Unlike in previous seasons, the Finals will not have a separate points list; the top 30 point earners through the entire season, including the Finals, will earn PGA Tour cards. A rule change announced in December 2022 allows for Korn Ferry Tour members that qualify for the U.S. Open (golf), U.S. Open, then make the 36-hole cut, to earn Korn Ferry Tour points equivalent to FedEx Cup points earned for their finish. The 2022 Korn Ferry Tour is the 32nd season of the top developmental tour for the PGA Tour in men's golf, and the third under the current sponsored name of Korn Ferry Tour. Schedule The table below shows the Korn Ferry Tour's 2022 schedule. The numbers in parentheses after winners' names show the player's total number of wins on the Korn Ferry Tour including that event. Few players accumulate many wins on the Korn Ferry Tour because success at this level soon leads to promotion to the PGA Tour. Any player who wins three Korn Ferry Tour events in a season will automatically earn their PGA Tour card immediately. Adrien Dumont de Chassart (born 1 March 2000) is a Belgian professional golfer. Amateur career When Dumont de Chassart was 15, he finished second in the Orange Bowl tournament in Miami, one of the major tournaments for players of 18 years or under. In 2019, he was awarded Belgian Male Amateur Golfer of the Year. In 2021, he finished third at the European Amateur Championships. Dumont de Chassart at the University of Illinois from 2018 to 2023. BMW Charity Pro-Am
The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is currently played at Thornblade Club (host course) in Greer, South Carolina and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. From 1992 to 2000, the event was played at Verdae Greens Golf Club in Greenville. When the event changed to a pro-am format in 2001, it moved to The Cliffs in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, using the Valley and Keowee Vineyards courses. The Walnut Cove course was added in 2005. In 2008, the tournament shifted to three different courses: Thornblade Club, Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Bright's Creek Golf Club in Mill Spring, North Carolina. In 2012, the Greenville Country Club (Chanticleer course) replaced Bright's Creek. The 2017 purse was $700,000, with $126,000 going to champion Stephan Jäger. Jorge Diogenes Fernández-Valdés (born 6 August 1992) is an Argentine professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. Amateur career Fernández-Valdés had a successful junior career representing Argentina at the 2009 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in Japan and finishing runner up in the 2010 Callaway Junior World Golf Championships in the 15-17 age category at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Scott Gutschewski (born October 1, 1976) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour, where he has won three times. He previously played on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Gutschewski was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He played college golf at both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska and helped lead the Huskers to a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships in his senior year (1999).
