2023 Indonesian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2023 Indonesian motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia) was the fifteenth round of the 2023 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit in Mandalika on 15 October 2023. After Jorge Martín's win in the MotoGP sprint, Ducati secured its fourth consecutive Constructors' Championship in the MotoGP class. Diogo Moreira Nascimento (born 23 April 2004) is a Brazilian motorcycle racer, currently competing in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship for the Italtrans Racing Team. Career After starting his motorcycle career in motocross in Brazil, Moreira moved to Spain in 2017 in order to continue his career. In 2019, he made his debut in the Talent Cup of the CEV International Championship, obtaining one victory and three podiums, finishing in sixth place. Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the premier championship of motorcycle road racing, which has been divided into three classes: MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3. Classes that have been discontinued include 500cc (although 500cc statistics are combined with MotoGP officially), 350cc, 250cc, 125cc, 80cc, 50cc and Sidecar. The Grand Prix Road-Racing World Championship was established in 1949 by the sport's governing body, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), and is the oldest motorsport World Championship. 2023 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season
The 2023 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 75th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road Racing World Championship season, the highest level of competition in motorcycle road racing. The season saw the introduction of sprints on Saturdays, a short-form race of approximately half the length of the main event, in addition to the traditional Grand Prix event on Sundays. David Muñoz Rodríguez (born 15 May 2006) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for Intact GP in the 2025 Moto3 World Championship. Career Early career In 2018, Muñoz participated in the European Talent Cup, where in two seasons he obtained three podiums including a win at MotorLand Aragón.
