Yara van Kerkhof (; born 31 May 1990) is a Dutch short track speed skater. She won the silver medal in the 500 m event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Career Van Kerkhof competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for the Netherlands. In the 500 metres she was second in her heat, advancing to a quarter-final, where she finished third, not advancing. In the 1500 metres she again advanced out of the first round, but was fifth in her semi-final, not advancing. She also competed in the 1000 metres, finishing third in her heat. As a member of the Dutch 3000 metre relay team, she was disqualified in the heats, again not advancing. Her best individual finish was in the 500m, where she was 11th. Anna Seidel (born 31 March 1998) is a German short track speed skater. At the ISU World Cup in Kolomna, Russia, in November 2013, Seidel placed 6th in the A Final of the 1500m event, thereby qualifying for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where she was the only lady represented Germany in short track. She was officially nominated by the DOSB (German Olympic Committee) on December 18, 2013. Anna Seidel started her sport carrier in athletics. Hanne Desmet (born 26 October 1996) is a Belgian short track speed skater. Biography Desmet was born in Wilrijk, lives in Mechelen, and is the older sister of short track speed skater Stijn Desmet. When Stijn was scouted by Pieter Gysel, Desmet started short track speed herself. Desmet is a three-time Belgian all-round champion, and in 2018, she became this by winning all individual distances. Suzanne Schulting (; born 25 September 1997) is a Dutch short track speed skater who is also active as a long track speed skater. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, she won the Netherlands' first-ever gold medal in short track speed skating and became one of the youngest-ever Dutch Winter Olympic champions. She is also a two-time overall World Champion (2019, 2021) and three-time overall European Champion (2019, 2020, 2021), and the current world record holder for 1000m.
