The 2023 Classic Lorient Agglomération–Trophée CERATIZIT was the 22nd edition of the Classic Lorient Agglomération, previously known as the GP de Plouay. It was the 23rd round of the 2023 UCI Women's World Tour and was held on 2 September 2023, in Plouay, France. 2023 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2023 UCI Women's World Tour was a competition that included twenty-seven road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2023 in women's road cycling, 2023 women's cycling season. It was the eighth edition of the UCI Women's World Tour, the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition began with the 2023 Women's Tour Down Under, Women's Tour Down Under from 15 to 17 January, and finished with the Tour of Guangxi on 17 October. Dutch rider Demi Vollering (SD Worx) won the individual classification with 4891.86 points, leading the classification for the majority of the season. She had seven overall victories, including winning all three Ardennes classics, as well as the second edition of 2023 Tour de France Femmes, Tour de France Femmes. Christina Schweinberger (born 29 October 1996) is an Austrian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Mischa Bredewold (born 20 June 2000) is a Dutch professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's World Tour Team . Starting racing in 2017 as a junior, the early part of her career was heavily disrupted when she was hit by a truck while training for the Dutch junior team prior to the 2018 UCI Road World Championships. A UCI Women's Team is a women's road bicycle team sanctioned by the International Cycling Union ( UCI). These teams compete in the major women's bicycle races including the UCI Women's World Tour. Plouay
Plouay (; ) is a commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany in north-western France. Plouay hosts the GP Ouest-France and the GP de Plouay, annual cycling races (a men's and women's race, respectively). It was also the location of the UCI Road World Championships in 2000.
