2023 Carbery Junior A Football Championship
The 2023 Carbery Junior A Football Championship was the 98th staging of the Carbery Junior A Football Championship since its establishment by the West Cork Board in 1926. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 8 December 2022. The championship ran from 29 July to 17 December 2023. The final was played on 27 October 2023 at Sam Maguire Park in Dunmanway, between Barryroe and Kilmacabea, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Barryroe won the match by 1–12 to 0–14 to claim their first ever championship title. Color (or colour in Commonwealth English; see spelling differences) is the visual perception based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Though color is not an inherent property of matter, color perception is related to an object's light absorption, emission, reflection and transmission. O'Donovan Rossa or Skibbereen is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland. It participates in Cork GAA competitions. Traditionally, the club has been much more successful in Gaelic football. It won its only Cork Senior Football Championship in 1992 and subsequently won the 1992–93 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship after beating Éire Óg of Carlow in the final replay. St James' GAA (Cork)
St James' GAA (Cork) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Ardfield– Rathbarry, in Cork, Ireland. The club has both hurling and Gaelic football teams. The club is part of Cork GAA and also part of the Carbery GAA division. Whilst the club has traditionally been primarily a Gaelic football one, hurling has grown in the 21st century. The club, like the parish has often been nicknamed "the Mountain". They are competitive in both Junior 'A' codes in the division. St James' won the Carbery Junior A Football championship in 2019 after defeating Ballinascarthy 0-11 to 0-9 in the final. It was their first ever title at this grade.
