2023 Baptist Health 200
The 2023 Baptist Health Cancer Care 200 was the 22nd stock car race of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the final race of the Round of 8, and the 27th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Homestead, Florida at Homestead–Miami Speedway, a permanent oval shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 134 laps to complete. Carson Hocevar, driving for Niece Motorsports, would make a successful late-race pass for the lead on Ben Rhodes, and led the final remaining laps to earn his fourth career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win, and his fourth of the season. Homestead–Miami Speedway
Homestead–Miami Speedway (formerly known as the Homestead Motorsports Complex from 1995 to 1998) is a oval-shaped Oval track racing#Intermediate, intermediate speedway in Homestead, Florida. It has hosted various major auto racing series throughout its existence, including NASCAR, IndyCar, and FIA GT Championship. The facility has a capacity of 43,000 as of 2019. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock car racing, stock cars. Rolex Sports Car Series
The Rolex Sports Car Series was the premier series run by the Grand American Road Racing Association. It was a North American-based sports car series founded in 2000 under the name Grand American Road Racing Championship to replace the failed United States Road Racing Championship. Tyler Brad Majeski (born August 18, 1994) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 98 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing, as well as in late model racing. Christian Donald Eckes (pronounced "eck-iss"; born November 10, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet SS for Kaulig Racing, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet for Bill McAnally Racing.
