The 2023 ACC Championship Game was a college football conference championship game played on December 2, 2023, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina to determine the champion of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for the 2023 season. The game featured the Florida State Seminoles and the Louisville Cardinals. The 19th annual ACC Championship Game was held at 8:14 p.m. EST on ABC. Elimination of divisions On June 28, 2022, the ACC approved a new football schedule format, set to take effect in the 2023 season. Under this format participation in the ACC championship game will no longer be determined by the winners of the now eliminated divisions. Instead, the two teams with the highest conference winning percentage will play in the Championship game. The ACC Championship Game is an annual American college football game held in early December by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) each year to determine its football champion. From its inception in 2005 to 2022, the game pit the champion of the Coastal Division against the champion of the Atlantic Division in a game that follows the conclusion of the regular season. The current champions are the Clemson Tigers of the Atlantic Division. The Atlantic Division was represented by either Clemson or Florida State in twelve of fifteen years through 2019, including eleven straight from 2009 to 2019, and five straight by Clemson from 2015 to 2019. Jawhar Kenyatta Jordan Jr. (born August 18, 1999) is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Syracuse Orange and the Louisville Cardinals. Early life and high school Jordan was born on Long Island, New York and attended Hamilton High School. Jack Plummer (born October 21, 1999) is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisville. Early life Plummer was born on October 21, 1999, in Dubuque, Iowa. He played high school football while attending Gilbert High School in Arizona, where he completed 515 of 888 passes for 6,913 yards and 69 touchdowns to 25 interceptions.
