2023 4 Hours Of Algarve
The 2023 4 Hours of Algarve was an endurance sportscar racing event held between 19 and 20 October 2023, as the fifth round of the 2023 European Le Mans Series season. Background The race meeting at Algarve International Circuit was turned into double race weekend after the cancellation of planned race at Imola. Entry list The entry list was published on 11 October and consisted of 41 entries in 4 categories – 7 in LMP2, 10 in LMP2 Pro/Am, 12 in LMP3 and 12 in LMGTE. The No. 10 Eurointernational withdrew from competing before the racing weekend. Ben Barnicoat came back to racing for the No. 83 AF Corse after missing two previous races. Jack Hawksworth returned to the No. 20 Algarve Pro Racing after also missing previous two races. Bent Viscaal replaced Gianmaria Bruni in the No. 99 Proton Competition. TF Sport is an auto racing team founded by Tom Ferrier and headquartered in Slinfold, West Sussex, England, United Kingdom. Óscar Andrés Tunjo (born 5 January 1996) is a Colombian racing driver. Career Karting Born in Cali, Tunjo began his racing career in karting at the age of five in Colombian championships, collecting titles in various classes. In 2007 he moved to Europe, and competed in local karting series. Formula BMW Tunjo made his début in single-seaters in 2010 at the age of fourteen, taking part in the Formula BMW Pacific series for Meritus. Manuel Espírito Santo (born 13 August 2003) is a Portuguese racing driver who currently drives for CLX Motorsport in the LMP2 category of the European Le Mans Series. Reshad Jean de Gerus (born 1 July 2003) is a French racing driver from Réunion, currently competing in the European Le Mans Series for Duqueine Team. Early career French F4 Championship De Gerus drove in the French F4 Championship from 2018 to 2019. In his debut season, he took part in the Junior category, finishing runner-up to Théo Pourchaire with four wins and 16 podiums. Cool Racing
CLX Motorsport, formerly known as Cool Racing, is a French-based Swiss sports car racing team which currently competes in the European Le Mans Series, fielding entries in the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, as well as the Le Mans Cup. Founded in 2017 by Patrick Barbier and Alexandre Coigny, owner of Cool Aviation, the team initially partnered with Racing Spirit of Léman to run their operations.
