The 2022–23 Pakistan Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 10 December 2022 to 3 January 2023. Balochistan cricket team, Balochistan were the defending champions. Central Punjab cricket team, Central Punjab won the competition, defeating Balochistan by 50 runs in the final. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly known as Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP), is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. Sindh Cricket Team
Sindh cricket team was a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Sindh province. It competed in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team was operated by the Sindh Cricket Association. History Before 2019 Sindh played its first first-class game in December 1932, when they drew with Ceylon at the Gymkhana ground in Karachi. Asif Yaqoob
Asif Yaqoob (; born 11 November 1973) is a Pakistani cricket umpire. Career Yaqoob began his umpiring career in 2003. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 26 October 2018. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, also between Pakistan and Australia, on 27 March 2019. He was one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa. Syed Aaley Haider, born at Karachi, Pakistan, on 4 December 1973, was a cricketer who played first-class cricket in Pakistan for several teams, and also played for and captained the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team in two under-19 Test matches in 1991-92. A right-hand batsman and an occasional off-break bowler, Aaley Haider came to prominence by scoring 103 in his first youth Test match in 1991-92 and leading his side to an innings victory over the England Under-19 cricket team. Usman Salahuddin (; born 2 December 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer who was selected to play against the West Indies for the May 2011 series. Salahuddin averages 36 in List A cricket and 47 in First-class cricket. Duckworth–Lewis–Stern Method
The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS method or DLS) previously known as the Duckworth–Lewis method (D/L) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score (number of runs needed to win) for the team batting second in a limited overs cricket match interrupted by weather or other circumstances. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress.
