The 2022–23 season is the 110th season in the history of NAC Breda and their fourth consecutive season in the second division of Dutch football. The club are participating in the Eerste Divisie and the KNVB Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. Alex Plat
Alex Plat (born 4 February 1998) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Volendam. Career Volendam Plat started playing football at RKAV Volendam, after which he moved to the youth academy of FC Volendam. He signed his first contract on 30 March 2015, on a deal until 2017 with an option for an additional season. At the end of the 2016–17 season, the option in his contract was triggered and he was extended for one year. He made his Eerste Divisie debut for Volendam on 20 October 2017 in a game against NEC as a 71st-minute substitute for Luís Pedro. He mainly played for the reserve team, Jong Volendam in the Derde Divisie that season, winning promotion to the third-tier Tweede Divisie in May 2019. Moreno Rutten
Moreno Gyoezoe Rutten (born 28 April 1993) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a right-back for Belgian Division 2 club Wezel Sport. He formerly played for Den Bosch, Crotone, NAC Breda, and VVV-Venlo. Club career On 17 June 2019, he signed a three-year contract with the Italian club Crotone. Welat Cagro (born 31 May 1999) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Belgian Pro League club Beerschot. Career Early career Born in Schaerbeek, Brussels, to Kurdish parents, Cagro began playing football with his local club, where he was scouted by Anderlecht. Charles-Jesaja Herrmann (born 8 February 2000) is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for Austrian club SKU Amstetten. Javier Vet (born 9 September 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He formerly played for AFC, FC Dordrecht, Almere City, De Graafschap, NEC and NAC Breda. Boris van Schuppen (born 22 November 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Eindhoven. Career NAC Breda Van Schuppen was born in Breda, North Brabant, and began playing football with local clubs Irene '58 and JEKA. Luc Marijinissen (born 9 January 2003) is a Dutch professional footballer of Indonesian descent who plays as a defender for Belgian club Lierse Kempenzonen. Odysseus Velanas (; born 5 June 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club PEC Zwolle. Born in Greece, he has represented the Netherlands at youth level.
