2022–23 Montenegrin Cup
The 2022–23 Montenegrin Cup was the 17th edition of the knockout football tournament in Montenegro. This season's cup was started on 7 September 2022 and concluded with the final on 29 May 2023. The winners of the cup this season earned a place in the first qualifying round of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. Budućnost were the defending champions from the previous season after defeating Dečić in the final by the score of 1–0. Sutjeska won the cup for the second time after beating Arsenal on penalties in the final. First round The draw for the first round was held on 2 September 2022. The matches were played on 7 September 2022. The first round paired the two teams who had met in the previous season's final. This time around the outcome was reversed, with defending champions Budućnost losing after penalties to Dečić, after their game had finished 1–1. Fudbalski klub Sutjeska (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Сутјеска) is a professional association football club from Nikšić, Montenegro, currently competing in the Montenegrin First League. FK Kom is a Montenegrin professional football club based in Zlatica, a suburb of Podgorica. Founded in 1958, the club competes in the Montenegrin Second League. The team is known as a first youth club of famous Montenegrin player Predrag Mijatović. Bijelo Polje (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Бијело Поље, ) is a town located in the Northern Montenegro, Northern Region of Montenegro, situated along Lim (river), Lim River. It has an urban population of 12,900 (2011 census). It is the administrative, economic, cultural and educational centre of northern Montenegro. } Gradski stadion is a football stadium in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. It is currently used for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje, FK Jedinstvo, FK Tekstilac and OFK Borac Bijelo Polje, OFK Borac. The stadium holds 4,000 people. History FK Jedinstvo played home games at the location of Gradski stadion since 1945. Following promotion of FK Jedinstvo to First League of Serbia and Montenegro, the stadium was renovated in 2005, with 3,000 seats on the main stand and 1,000 seats on the other stand. Nikola Ivanović (born February 19, 1994) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player for Germani Brescia of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Orhan Ghazi (; , also spelled Orkhan; died 1362) was the second sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1323/4 to 1362. He was born in Söğüt, as the son of Osman I. In the early stages of his reign, Orhan focused his energies on conquering most of northwestern Anatolia.
