2022–23 Legia Warsaw Season
The 2022–23 season is Legia Warsaw's 106th season in existence and the club's 75th consecutive season in the top flight of Polish football. In addition to the domestic league, Legia Warsaw participated in this season's edition of the Polish Cup, beating Raków Częstochowa in the final. The season covers the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. Legia Warszawa (), commonly referred to as Legia Warsaw or simply Legia, is a professional football club based in Warsaw, Poland. Legia is the most successful Polish football club in history, winning a record 15 champions titles, a record 21 Polish Cup and 5 Polish Super Cup trophies. The club's home venue is the Polish Army Stadium (''Stadion Wojska Polskiego''). Legia is the only Polish club never to have been relegated from the top flight of Polish football since World War II (see: 1936 Legia Warsaw season). Legia was formed between 5 and 15 March 1916 during military operations in World War I, as the main football club of the Polish Legions. Blaž Kramer (born 1 June 1996) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish Süper Lig club Konyaspor. Lindsay Rose (born 8 February 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Greek Super League club Aris. Born in France, he plays for the Mauritius national team. He was a France youth international and previously played at under-18 and under-19 level. Makana Nsimba Baku (born 8 April 1998) is a German professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Super League Greece club Atromitos. Kacper Skibicki (born 11 October 2001) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for II liga club KKS 1925 Kalisz. Ernest Muçi (born 19 March 2001) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş and the Albania national team. Maik Nawrocki (born 7 February 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for 2. Bundesliga club Hannover 96, on loan from Scottish Premiership club Celtic.
