2022–23 FC Utrecht Season
The 2022–23 season is the 53rd season in the existence of FC Utrecht and the club's 53rd consecutive season in the top flight of Dutch football. In addition to the domestic league, FC Utrecht participated in this season's editions of the KNVB Cup. In the regular season, they have qualified for the play-offs, for this they played for a place in the second round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. FC Utrecht
Football Club Utrecht () is a Dutch professional football club based in Utrecht. The club competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, and plays its home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard. The club was formed in 1970 as a merger between local clubs VV DOS, USV Elinkwijk and Velox. Since then, the club has won three national cup tournaments: in 1985, 2003 and 2004, also winning the Johan Cruyff Shield in 2004 as the first club outside the traditional Dutch '' Big Three''. Utrecht is also the only club outside the Big Three which has never suffered relegation from the top-flight Eredivisie. 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League
The 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League will be the third season of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. The final will be played at the yet to be announced venue. The winners of the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League league stage, unless they qualify for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League through their league performance. This edition will be the final season with the current format of 32 teams participating at the group stage, after UEFA announced that a brand new format would be introduced for the following edition. Association team allocation A total of 58 teams from between 31 and 36 of the 55 UEFA member associations are expected to participate in the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. Mimoun Mahi
Mimoun Mahi (born 13 March 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for club De Graafschap. He formerly played for Sparta Rotterdam, Groningen, Zürich, Utrecht and Cambuur. Born in the Netherlands, he represents Morocco at international level. Club career Mahi helped FC Groningen win the KNVB Cup in 2014–15 against defending champions PEC Zwolle. Taylor Anthony Booth (born May 31, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club Utrecht and the United States national team. Victor Christoffer Jensen (born 8 February 2000) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Utrecht.
