The 2022–23 season was Pyunik's 29th season in the Armenian Premier League. Season events On 11 June, Pyunik announced the signing of Yusuf Otubanjo from Ararat-Armenia. The next day, 12 June, Pyunik announced the loan signing of Milad Jahani from Sepahan. On 3 July, Pyunik announced the signings of Arthur Avagyan, Luka Juričić, Boris Varga, Andre Mensalao, Mikhail Kovalenko, Nemanja Mladenović, Marjan Radeski, Serhiy Vakulenko and David Davidyan. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik Yerevan ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Փյունիկ Երևան, Futbolayin Akumb P’yunik Yerevan), commonly known as Pyunik (" Phoenix"), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 31 won to date. Internationally, Pyunik has yet to win an international title, with the closest result being a bronze place finish in the 2006 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup. Yusuf Otubanjo (born 12 September 1992) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik. Career Club On 23 January 2020, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Otubanjo. On 4 June 2022, Ararat-Armenia announced that Otubanjo's contract had expired and he would leave the club. Aleksandar Miljković (footballer, Born 1990)
Aleksandar Miljković ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Миљковић, ; born 26 February 1990) is a Serbian footballer who plays as a right back for Pyunik. Club career Miljković has passed Partizan's youth academy after which he was transferred to FK Teleoptik to gain experience. He was promoted to Partizan senior squad along with Adem Ljajić during the 2008–09 season. He debuted against FK Čukarički on 26 October 2008. Later on, he was sent back to Teleoptik. In 2010, he was loaned to FK Metalac where he played five games and scored one goal. The next three seasons, Miljković spent as a standard member of Partizan.
