2022–23 FC Ararat Yerevan Season
The 2022–23 season was FC Ararat Yerevan's 32nd consecutive season in Armenian Premier League, where they will also compete in the Armenian Cup and Europa Conference League. Season events On 17 January, Serob Galstyan extended his contract with Ararat Yerevan until the summer of 2025. FC Ararat Yerevan
Football Club Ararat Yerevan (), commonly known as Ararat Yerevan, is an Armenia, Armenian professional Association football, football club based in Yerevan that plays in the Armenian Premier League. Since 1999 the club has been owned by the Swiss-Armenian businessman Vartan Sirmakes. The badge shows a white eagle standing on a football and is a reference to the club nickname. The badge also displays the name of Ararat in both Latin (Ararat) and Armenian (ԱՐԱՐԱՏ) text. History In 1935, a football team was established in Yerevan by Spartak sports society. Georgi Babaliev
Georgi Nikolaev Babaliev ( Bulgarian: Георги Николаев Бабалиев; born 14 March 2001) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Yantra Gabrovo. Career Babaliev started his youth career in the local Karnobat, before moving to Chernomorets Burgas and later to Ludogorets Razgrad. Shirak SC
Football Club Shirak (), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenia, Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional association football, football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 in Armenian football, 1992 until 2020–21 Armenian Premier League, 2021. Hrayr Mkoyan
Hrayr Mkoyan (, born 2 September 1986) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Shirak, which he captains, and the Armenia national team. Club career Ararat Yerevan Hrayr Mkoyan spent his youth career at Shirak Gyumri. He debuted for the first team at 18 years of age. In 2007, Mkoyan attracted breeders from Ararat Yerevan. For two seasons at the Yerevan team, Hrayr spent 47 meetings. Normal performance for the club prevented a permanent objective and subjective pressure on Ararat. Lernayin Artsakh FC () is an association football club formerly based in Stepanakert, Artsakh Republic but is registered in the town of Vayk, Vayots Dzor Province, Armenia. The club was founded in 1927 in Soviet Azerbaijan and its current name translates from Armenian as "''Mountainous Artsakh''". History The club was founded in 1927 under the name ''Dinamo Stepanakert''. In 1960, the name was changed to ''Karabakh'' and remained by that name until 1989 when it was renamed ''Artsakh''. During the years between 1992 and 1995 they were unable to participate in any competition due to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War.
