The 2022–23 Bobsleigh World Cup was a multi-race series over a season for bobsleigh. The season started in Whistler, Canada on 26 November 2022 and ended in Sigulda, Latvia on 19 February 2023. Shaquille Murray-Lawrence
Shaquille "Shaq" Murray-Lawrence (born October 30, 1993) is a professional Canadian football running back and kickoff returner who is a free agent. He is also a member of the Canadian National Bobsled Team as a brakeman. He was a member of Team Canada at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Murray-Lawrence has also been a member of the BC Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Montreal Alouettes. Early career Murray-Lawrence played high school football for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier Blue Devils, where he earned team MVP from 2008–2010. He played at Lon Morris College in 2011 before the school closed due to financial difficulties in 2012. He played college football for the Tyler Apaches in 2012, recording 211 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Arran Gulliver (born 3 July 1997) is a British bobsledder. Early life Born in Worcestershire, he attended The Bewdley School. He took part in athletics and judo and participated in CrossFit before forging a bobsleigh career. He was British schools judo Champion in 2015, and has a 100m sprint time of 10.75 seconds. Career He started training for bobsleigh in the Summer of 2022 after seeing an advert for the British Bobsleigh programme in Bath. He had been due to start training to be a police officer, but instead chose to focus on bobsleigh, following the successful trials. He first set foot in a bobsleigh in late October 2022. He was a gold medalist with the British four-man team at the IBSF European Championships 2023 in Germany.
