2022–23 Abahani Limited Dhaka Season
The 2022–23 season was the Abahani Limited Dhaka's 15th consecutive season in the Bangladesh Premier League since the initiation of the league, and 48th overall season in the top flight of Bangladeshi football. The season covered a period from 8 October 2022 to 22 July 2023. This season didn't include any AFC competitions as the Asian club competitions switched to two-year (autumn-to-spring) schedule from 2023. Abahani Limited Dhaka (), also referred as Dhaka Abahani or Abahani Limited, is a Bangladeshi professional Association football, football club based in the Dhanmondi area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Shahidul Alam Sohel
Mohammed Shahidul Alam (; born 1 May 1992), known by his nickname Sohel, is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bangladesh Premier League club Rahmatganj MFS. Club career In 2007, Sohel began his career at Badda Jagoroni Sangsad in the Senior Division League in Dhaka. The following year, he joined Abahani Limited Dhaka in the Bangladesh Premier League as the understudy to the veteran first-choice, Biplob Bhattacharjee. Mohammad Mamun Miah (; born 11 September 1987) is a former Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a right-back. Early career In 2005, Mamun was adjudged ''Player of the tournament'' while representing Stamford University Bangladesh in the Inter-Private University Football Tournament. 2018 Federation Cup final incident On 23 November 2018, Abahani Limited Dhaka faced Bashundhara Kings in the 2018 Federation Cup final. Saif Sporting Club was an association football club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in 2016, the club competed in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top flight of Bangladeshi football, from 2017 to 2022.
