2022 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship
The 2022 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 30 to May 5 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. It was the first time the World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was ever held. Sabina Johansson and Marcus Holm of Sweden beat Rita Sárai and Viktor Beke of Hungary in the final and won the first ever World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles title. Meggan Dawson-Farrell (born 18 September 1992) is a Scottish wheelchair racer. Early life Dawson-Farrell was born with spina bifida and also has the condition hydrocephalus. She was unable to take part in sport at school but began after attending a youth sports camp at the age of fourteen. Career Dawson-Farrell is classified as a T54 wheelchair athlete. She trains with coach Ian Mirfin at the Red Star Athletics Club, a club dedicated to disabled athletes.
