2022 Phoenix Shooting
On August 28, 2022, a mass shooting occurred outside of a Days Inn motel in Phoenix, Arizona. The perpetrator, Isaiah Steven Williams, a 24-year-old man wearing Military technology, tactical equipment and armed with a rifle and Explosive weapon, explosive weapons, killed two people and wounded five others, including two police officers. A shootout ensued between the perpetrator and law enforcement before the incident ended when Williams committed suicide. Shooting At around 8:25p.m., Williams was observed on Closed-circuit television, closed-circuit television cameras leaving a Days Inn Motel room that he had booked wearing a tactical vest, riot helmet and gas mask. Deer Valley
Deer Valley is a ski-only resort in the Wasatch Range, located east of Salt Lake City, in Park City, Utah, United States where snowboarding is prohibited. Deer Valley was one of the venues for the 2002 Winter Olympics, hosting the freestyle moguls, aerial, and alpine slalom events. It is expected to host the mogul event for the 2034 Winter Olympics but lost out on hosting the slalom event. Deer Valley also regularly hosts competitions for the International Ski Federation for moguls and aerials, but is not steep enough nor does it have long enough terrain to host events such as the GS, Super G, or Downhill. Phoenix Freeway Shootings
The Phoenix freeway shootings, also known as the I-10 shootings, were a series of eleven incidents that occurred between August 27 and September 10, 2015, along Interstate 10 and State Route 202 in Phoenix, Arizona. Each incident resulted in projectile damage to cars, and one girl was injured. A suspect was arrested on September 18, but charges against him were dropped in April 2016.
