2022 PDC Asian Championship
The 2022 PDC Asian Championship was a tournament organized by the Professional Darts Corporation for Asian players. The tournament featured 48 players from all around Asia, with the four semi-finalists earning a place in the 2023 PDC World Darts Championship and the winner also earning a place in the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts. won the tournament, defeating 7–5 in the final. Perez, Nebrida, plus semi-finalists and all qualified for the World Championship as a result of this tournament, with Perez also qualifying for the Grand Slam, becoming only the second Asian player after to do so. This was the first edition of the tournament, which was created following the inability to revive the successful PDC Asian Tour, which had not been able to be run since 2019, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Toru Suzuki (darts Player)
is a Japanese professional soft-tip and steel-tip darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and other national events. He has competed twice during the PDC World Darts Championship and represented his country at the PDC World Cup of Darts. Career Suzuki plays in the soft-tip tournaments since 2012. In 2017, he was able to win a few tournaments at the Perfect Japan Tour and made it onto the podium overall. However, the PDC Asia Tour has not been very successful for him. Mikuru Suzuki
is a Japanese darts player. She was a two-time back-to-back British Darts Organisation (BDO) women's world champion. She plays in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). Career Suzuki is an experienced soft-tip darts player, having competed in many tournaments and professional tours in her home country of Japan, as well as across east Asia. Royden Lam
Royden Lam (Chinese:林鼎智; born 8 September 1975) is a darts player from Hong Kong. Career Royden Lam is best known as a soft tip darts player but also plays steel tip darts. In 2009 he won the Hong Kong Open by beating Liu Cheng from China in the final. In 2010, he lost in the final of the Japan Open to Kyle Anderson and in the quarter-finals of the Asia Pacific Cup to Morihiro Hashimoto. In 2011, he almost managed to qualify for the PDC World Championship, but was defeated by Scott MacKenzie 4–3 in the final of the Chinese qualifier. In 2013, Lam registered for PDC Qualifying School and earned a Tour Card on the final day. Yuki Yamada (darts Player)
is a Japanese professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Yamada first came to prominence in 2015, when he was one of eight Japanese qualifiers who played in the 2015 Japan Darts Masters, where he lost 6–2 to Gary Anderson, although he hit a 121 checkout, one of the highest in the tournament. Edward Foulkes
is a Japanese-Welsh professional darts player, who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation tournaments. He is also known as a soft tip darts professional. Keita Ono (born December 17, 1987) is a Japanese darts player. Career Ono won a Dartslive event in Hong Kong in 2012 by defeating Lourence Ilagan. He claimed the 2013 Japan Open by beating Gordon Dixon in the final. is a Japanese professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career BDO Asada won the Japan Open in 2012 by beating Osamu Niki in the final.
