The 2022 Orléans Masters was a badminton tournament that took place in the Palais des Sports (Orléans), Palais des Sports at Orléans, France, from 29 March to 3 April 2022. The tournament had a total prize pool of $90,000. Tournament The 2022 Orléans Masters was the seventh tournament and the second Super 100 tournament of the 2022 BWF World Tour. It was part of the Orléans Masters championships which had been held since 2012. It was organized by the Cercle Laïque des Tourelles Orléans (CLTO) Badminton with sanction from the Badminton World Federation. Palais Des Sports (Orléans)
Palais des Sports (English: ''Palace of Sports'') is an indoor arena, indoor sports complex in the city of Orléans, France. The capacity of the arena is 3,222 people. This is the arena use by the resident club of Saran Loiret Handball. Until 2023, it was an arena used by the LNB Pro B, French Pro B League professional basketball team Orléans Loiret Basket, Orléans Loiret Basket. The Palais des Sports, with its smaller capacity, hosts the team's domestic competitions, while EuroLeague and EuroCup Basketball, Eurocup matches are held in the larger Zénith d'Orléans. BWF World Ranking
The BWF World Ranking is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by Badminton World Federation. It is used to determine the qualification for the BWF World Championships, World Championships and Badminton at the Summer Olympics, Summer Olympic Games, as well as BWF World Tour tournaments. Seedings of draws at all BWF-sanctioned tournaments are conducted using the BWF World Ranking. Players under 19 years of age are eligible to rank in the BWF World Junior Ranking, which were introduced in January 2011. Yeoh Seng Zoe ( zh, 楊升宙; born 28 September 1997) is a Malaysian badminton player. He won the first international title at 2019 Nepal International. Career He started off his junior career by winning the Uganda International title with partner Chong Chun Quan. He then competed in the 2015 BWF World Junior Championships where he lost to Firman Abdul Kholik in the fourth round. He was part of the squad that participated in the 2015 BWF World Junior Championships team events. In 2017, he left the Badminton Association of Malaysia to play as an independent player. Christo Popov (born 8 March 2002) is a French badminton player who affiliate with Fos club. He won the men's doubles gold at the 2025 European Championships with his brother Toma Junior Popov. Toby Penty (born 12 August 1992) is a retired English badminton player. He started playing badminton at aged 9, and won U-19 English National Championships in 2011. In 2010, he won junior titles in the Netherlands and Switzerland. In 2017, he won the Swedish International tournament in the men's singles event. Ygor Coelho
Ygor Coelho de Oliveira (; born 24 November 1996) is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. Thomas Rouxel (born 26 May 1991) is a French badminton player affiliated with Chambly Oise club. In 2016, he won the silver medal at the European Men's Team Championships in Kazan, Russia.
