2022 Danmark Rundt
The 2022 Danmark Rundt (officially PostNord Danmark Rundt 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was a men's road bicycle race which was held from 16 to 20 August 2022. It was the 31st edition of Danmark Rundt, which was rated as a 2.Pro event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour and the 2022 UCI ProSeries calendars. 2022 UCI Europe Tour
The 2022 UCI Europe Tour was the eighteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2022 season began on 23 January 2022 with the Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969, and concluded on 16 October 2022 with the Chrono des Nations and the Veneto Classic. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Individual Time Trial
An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' " stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT). ITTs are also referred to as "the race of truth", as winning depends only on each rider's strength and endurance, and not on help provided by teammates and others riding ahead and creating a slipstream. Olav Kooij (born 17 October 2001) is a Dutch professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Kooij rode for the Forte U19 Cycling Team and Willebrord Wil Vooruit as a junior, before signing for the for their inaugural season in 2020.
