2022 1000 Miles Of Sebring
The 2022 1000 Miles of Sebring was an endurance sportscar racing event held on the 18 March 2022, as the opening round of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship. This was the second running of the race, a 268-lap event or 8 hours (whichever comes first), and the first time the event had been held since the 2019 1000 Miles of Sebring, after due to the 2020 and 2021 races being cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic. Background The provisional calendar for the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship released in August 2021. It saw a few changes, with the return of the Sebring and Fuji races, whilst the Portimao and second Bahrain races were dropped. Entry list The entry list was revealed on 9 March 2022. Autoracing Club Bratislava, also known as ARC Bratislava, is an auto racing team based in Slovakia. The team is led by Miro Konôpka, who has been driving for the team since its inception. André Negrão
André Negrão (born ) is a Brazilian racing driver. He most recently drove for Alpine in the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2023, and spent a total of seven seasons with the team during his tenure. Negrão is a former LMP2 champion in the series, and is also a two-time LMP2 class winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning in 2018 and 2019. Early career Negrão was born in Campinas, in São Paulo state. He started his trajectory in motorsports when he was 12 years old, although his family has a tradition in Brazilian motorsports. Signatech, currently competing as the Alpine Endurance Team, is a French auto racing team and racing car constructor that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
