2021–22 Pakistan Federal Budget
The Federal Government of Pakistan has presented the country's budget of Rs. 8400 billion in the National Assembly. This is the third budget presented by the PTI Government; it has been come in power since August 2018. The federal budget has been described by the government as a budget for economic growth. Pakistan Economic Survey 2020-21 The Pakistan Economic Survey is an annual report on the performance of the economy, focusing in particular on major macroeconomic indicators. Shaukat Tareen
Shaukat Fayyaz Ahmed Tarin (; born 1 October 1953) is a former Pakistani Senator and banker who served as Finance Minister of Pakistan from 2008 to 2010 in the Gillani cabinet also and worked with the help of the Pakistan People’s Party's cabinet members. On 27 December 2021, he was appointed the Finance Minister of Pakistan again, replacing the recently appointed Hammad Azhar after a cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan. He is the Member of the Senate of Pakistan since March 2018. On 7 October 2008, he was appointed an adviser to the government and was elevated to the post of finance minister after being elected as a senator from Sindh on 27 July 2009. National Assembly (Pakistan)
The National Assembly of Pakistan, also referred to as ''Aiwān-ē-Zairīñ'', is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Pakistan, with the upper house being the Senate. As of 2023, the National Assembly has a maximum membership of 336, of which 266 are directly elected by an adult universal suffrage and a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies, while 60 are elected on reserved seats for women and religious minorities from all over the country. Members hold their seats for five years or until the house is dissolved by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister. The house convenes at the Parliament House, Red Zone, Islamabad. Members are elected through the first-past-the-post system under universal adult suffrage, representing electoral districts known as National Assembly constituencies. The Parliament of Pakistan is the supreme Legislature, legislative body of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek E Insaf
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a political party in Pakistan established in 1996 by cricketer and politician Imran Khan, who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. The party is led by Gohar Ali Khan since late 2023. The PTI ranks among the three major List of political parties in Pakistan, Pakistani political parties alongside the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML–N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
