2021–22 FC Khimki Season
The 2021–22 season was the 64th season in the existence of FC Khimki and the club's 19th consecutive season in the top flight of Russian football. In addition to the domestic league, FC Khimki are participating in this season's editions of the Russian Cup. FC Khimki
FC Khimki () was a Russian professional football club based in Khimki. History The team was formed in 1996 by merging two amateur clubs from Khimki, Rodina, and Novator. Khimki entered the amateur league and played their first official match on 17 May 1997. Of more than 150 amateur teams in the competition, only the champions would be promoted to the Third League. Khimki won the tournament, overcoming Energiya Ulyanovsk in the final match in a penalty shootout. On 30 January 1997, Khimki became a professional football club. In the Third League regional tournament, Khimki finished second and were promoted to the Russian Second Division, Second League. Khimki were promoted to the Russian First Division, First Division after the 2000 season. They finished first in the ''Centre'' zone of the Second Division, but lost the promotion play-off to Severstal Cherepovets on away goals. Nemanja Glavčić
Nemanja Glavčić ( sr-cyr, Немања Главчић; born 19 February 1997) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for AEL Limassol. Club career Partizan Originating from Bogutovac, Glavčić was born in Kraljevo. He started training for football at the age of 5 with local football school "Bambi". He played for youth categories of Sloga Kraljevo until 2011, when he joined Partizan. He was loaned to Teleoptik for the 2014–15 season. Yuri Zhirkov
Yuri Valentinovich Zhirkov ( rus, Ю́рий Валенти́нович Жирко́в, p=ˈjʉrʲɪj vəlʲɪnʲˈtʲinəvʲɪdʑ ʐɨrˈkof; born 20 August 1983) is a Russian former footballer who played as a left-back and as a left-winger. A left-sided player who can play full-back or winger, Zhirkov began his career at local club Spartak Tambov before joining top-flight CSKA Moscow in 2004. Domestic and European success followed, and in 2009 he moved to English Premier League club Chelsea for £18 million. Pavel Konstantinovich Mamayev (; born 17 September 1988) is a Russian former footballer who played as midfielder. He primarily played as a right midfielder or central midfielder. At CSKA Moscow he played as a defensive midfielder or deep-lying playmaker. On 8 May 2019, he was convicted in court of "intended infliction of minor harm to a health official" and sentenced to imprisonment until late 2019. He was released on 17 September 2019.
