The 2021–22 season was Alashkert's tenth season in the Armenian Premier League and fifteenth overall. Season events On 1 July, Alashkert announced the signing of José Embaló from Olimpia Grudziądz, with Aghvan Davoyan, Béko Fofana, Artak Yedigaryan, David Khurtsidze, Deou Dosa and James all signing the following day. On 16 July, Alashkert announced the signings of Vladislav Kryuchkov, Aghvan Papikyan and Levon Bayramyan. On 22 July, Alashkert announced that Aleksandr Grigoryan had left the club by mutual consent due to his wife's poor health, returning to the club on 31 July. Football Club Alashkert ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Ալաշկերտ), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic Western Armenian town of Alashkert, now Eleşkirt in Eastern Turkey. The club is owned by Bagrat Navoyan, a businessman and founder of Bagratour LLC. Alashkert has a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian club Botafogo since August 2017. 2020–21 FC Alashkert Season
The 2020–21 season was Alashkert's ninth season in the Armenian Premier League and fourteenth overall. Alashkert finished the season as Champions for the first time since 2017–18. Alashkert where also Runners Up in the Armenian Cup and where knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Renova at the first qualifying round. Season events On 27 July, Alashkert announced that Henri Avagyan, Aleksandar Miljković, Nikita Baranov and Hayk Ishkhanyan had left the club after their contracts had been terminated by mutual consent, whilst Ognjen Čančarević, Tiago Cametá and Thiago Galvão had all extended their contract with the club. Matheus Alessandro
Matheus Alessandro dos Santos Pereira (born 10 July 1996) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Boavista. Club career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Alessandro started his youth career with the academy of Xerém. In 2012, he signed for the under-17 team of Fluminense, after impressing the club's scouts during Taça das Favelas. He won the Brasileiro under-20 with the youth side in 2016. Giresunspor
Giresunspor Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club based in Giresun. It was founded in 1925 and re-formed in 1967 after the merger of Yeşiltepespor, Akıngençlikspor, and Beşiktaşspor. Marko Milinković ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Mилинковић; born 16 April 1988) is a Serbian footballer who plays as a left midfielder. Career From July 2007 until December 2010, he played for Košice. Aghvan Papikyan
Aghvan Papikyan ( hy, Աղվան Պապիկյանը, born 8 February 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for III liga club Unia Skierniewice. Born in Poland, he was a member of the Armenia national team. Club career Aghvan was a pupil of the football academy ŁKS Łódź. David Khvichayevich Khurtsidze (russian: Давид Хвичаевич Хурцидзе; born 4 July 1993) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alashkert. Club career In June 2013 Khurtsidze moved on a yearlong loan to Zenit Penza. Artak Yedigaryan
Artak Yedigaryan ( hy, Արտակ Եդիգարյան, born on 18 March 1990 in Yerevan) is an Armenian football player who plays as a defender for Alashkert and the Armenia national football team. Club career Artak was born in Yerevan in a family of football players, which naturally affected his future. Ismaël Béko Fofana (born 8 September 1988) is an Ivorian professional footballer who play as a striker for Alashkert in the Armenian Premier League. Fofana represented his country at all youth international levels from Under-17 to Under-23.
