2021–22 Bengaluru FC Season
The 2021–22 season was India's Bengaluru FC's ninth season as a club since its establishment in 2013. The Blues participated in AFC Cup, Durand Cup and finished sixth in their fifth Indian Super League season. All domestic league games of Bengaluru were held behind closed doors at GMC Athletic Stadium due to COVID-19 pandemic. Background Transfers During the month of June, Bengaluru FC announced the contract extensions of Sunil Chhetri and Suresh Singh Wangjam. Chhetri extended his stay at the club for another two years and Suresh for three years. On 2 July Bengaluru FC announced that Gabonese defender Yrondu Musavu-King signed a two-year extension with the club. Bengaluru Football Club () (Kannada: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ) is an Indian professional football club based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Mohun Bagan Super Giant, commonly referred to as Mohun Bagan, is an Indian professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Founded in 1889, it is one of the oldest football clubs in Asia. Jayesh Rane
Jayesh Dilip Rane (born 20 February 1993) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Mumbai Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Rane joined the Mumbai youth team in 2008. During the 2012 I-League U20, Rane ended as the league top scorer with thirteen goals. Rane was then called up to the first-team for the Federation Cup but did not see the field during the tournament due to Mumbai being knocked-out early. Harmanjot Singh Khabra (born 18 December 1988) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender. Club career Youth career As a young player, Khabra began his career at the Tata Football Academy before signing his first professional contract with National Football League (later I-League) club Sporting Clube de Goa.
