Qarabağ Futbol Klubu () is an Azerbaijani professional football club that competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. The club originates from Aghdam in the Karabakh ( Azerbaijani: ''Qarabağ'') region, but has not played in its hometown since 1993 due to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The club now plays in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Afran Ismayilov (, born on 8 October 1988) is an Azerbaijani professional football coach and a former midfielder who is an assistant coach with Araz-Naxçıvan. Early years Ismayilov was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, started playing football at age 8 and attended Neftchi Baku football school under Rovshan Gasimov. Career Club Ismayilov began his career at the FK Qarabağ academy in 2004 after being chosen as one of three talents among 1200 amateur players. ASK Arena
ASK Arena (), formerly Inter Arena and Shafa Stadium is an all-seater football stadium located in Baku . The stadium was built on the site of Termist stadium in 2001 and has a capacity of 8,125 spectators. The stadium surrounded by practice fields, administration buildings and four-star hotel. Background ASK Arena was built by AFFA in 2001. The first match played was a 2001–02 UEFA Cup first qualifying round between Shafa Baku and Olimija Ljubljana where the match ended 0–4. Qaradağ Lökbatan FK () was an Azerbaijani football (soccer), football club based in Lökbatan. History The club was established in 2009 under the name of ''Neftchi-ISM'' as Neftchi Baku PFC, Neftchi Baku's reserve team, and played in Azerbaijan First Division. However, reserve teams cannot play in the same division as their senior team and therefore the club was ineligible for promotion to the Azerbaijan Premier League. The club became independent of Neftchi in 2011 and was renamed Qaradağ Lökbatan FK, which would allow them to participate in Premier League if they secured promotion from the First Division.
