2021–22 Armenian Cup
The 2021–22 Armenian Cup was the 31st edition of the football competition in Armenia. The competition began on 15 September 2021 and concluded on 8 May 2022 with Noravank winning their first title. Ararat Yerevan were the defending champions of the cup after defeating Alashkert in the previous season's final. Gyumri
Gyumri (, ) is an urban municipal community and the List of cities and towns in Armenia, second-largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative center of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country. Andranik Voskanyan
Andranik Voskanyan (; born 11 April 1990) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Club career Andranik Voskanyan loved football from early childhood. When he was in the first grade, a football coach visited looking for children interested in playing football. Voskanyan did not miss the opportunity and started to go to training. He began his career in the football school of Malatia Yerevan (now school property of Banants Yerevan) under the direction of Hakob Andreasyan. He started playing for Mika-2 in the Armenian First League in 2008. Two years later, Voskanyan made his debut for the first team Mika Yerevan in the Armenian Premier League. He played three games that year. In 2011, he got a starter position in the defense and was a major player that season. Artur Kartashyan (; born 8 January 1997) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a defender for West Armenia, on loan from Alashkert. Club career Kartashyan left his native Pyunik in June 2021 by mutual agreement. Sevan Football Club (), formerly Junior Sevan Football Club, was a football club based in Sevan, Armenia. It was the most recent football club that represented the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia in professional football. History Sevan Football Club was founded in 2018 as ''Junior Sevan Football Club'', in the town of Sevan. In its first year of foundation, Junior Sevan applied and took part in the Armenian First League. Even though it won the 2018–19 league season, the club was not granted a license for promotion to the Premier League for not having met the required standards. Sisian
Sisian ( ) is a town and the centre of the Sisian Municipality of the Syunik Province in southern Armenia. It is located on both banks of the Vorotan River, at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level, 6 km south of the Yerevan- Meghri highway, at a road distance of 217 km southeast of the capital Yerevan, and 115 km north of the provincial capital Kapan.
