2021 Tulane Green Wave Football Season
The 2021 Tulane Green Wave football team represented Tulane University in the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Green Wave played their home games at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana, and competed in the American Athletic Conference. They were led by sixth-year head coach Willie Fritz. Preseason Coaching changes Prior to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in December 2020, offensive coordinator Will Hall accepted the head coaching role at Southern Miss. Chip Long was hired to replace Hall. On December 10, Fritz announced the firing of defensive coordinator Jack Curtis. Chris Hampton was named the new defensive coordinator on December 18. In March 2021, it was announced that Chris Watt would be the offensive line coach for Tulane. Dorian Williams (born June 28, 2001) is an American professional football linebacker for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tulane Green Wave. Early life Williams attended Indian Land High School in Indian Land, South Carolina. He committed to Tulane University to play college football. The 2021 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season, the 127th season for the Oklahoma Sooners. Michael Wayne Pratt (born September 30, 2001) is an American professional football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tulane Green Wave, where he was named the 2023 AAC Offensive Player of the Year. Pratt was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL draft.
