2021 Súper TC2000
The 2021 Súper TC2000 Championship was the 43rd season of Turismo Competición 2000 and the 10th season of Súper TC2000. The series commenced on March 13 at the Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez and concluded on November 28 at the same circuit, after 12 rounds. Agustín Canapino
Agustín Hugo Canapino (born January 19, 1990) is an Argentine racing driver signed to Juncos Hollinger Racing in the IndyCar Series. He has run in different series, with major success in Turismo Carretera (TC). He is the son of Alberto Canapino, a renowned race car mechanic in Argentina. Career overview With no previous racing experience, Agustín made his debut in 2005 in a Renault one-make. He won races in 2006 and won the championship in 2007. He made his debut that year in TC 2000 and the following year in Top Race and TC Pista, a championship prior to Turismo Carretera that he won that year. Canapino won the TC and Top Race Torneo Clausura championships in 2010. Leonel Pernía
Leonel Adrián Pernía (born September 27, 1975 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine racing driver. He has run in different series, with major success in TC 2000, where he finished 3rg in 2009 and 2nd in 2010 driving for the works Honda team. He is the son of former footballer and racing driver Vicente Pernía, and brother of Spanish international footballer Mariano Pernía. In fact, he played for Boca Juniors First Division in 1997, in the National Professional Soccer League the next two years, then raced at the Argentine Turismo Nacional in 2000 and 2001. Because of the crisis, he returned to the United States to compete in the Major Indoor Soccer League from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, Pernía retired from football and returned to Argentina to race professionally. That year he competed at the TC Pista in a Chevrolet (12th) and the TC2000 in a Honda (3 races). Mauricio Lambiris
Mauricio Lambiris (born 3 March 1987) is a racing driver from Uruguay. He currently competes in Turismo Carretera. Biography Lambiris was born in Montevideo but moved to Buenos Aires at 6 years old. His first taste of motorsport came at a karting exhibition in Punta del Este through his father Jorge, an amateur driver himself. Despite his parents wanting him to play football, he started racing karts at 7 alongside childhood friend Guido Falaschi. He moved up to Fórmula 1000 Argentina in 2003 and then Fórmula Renault Argentina a year later, but struggled with the transition and returned to karting in 2007. Lambiris returned to car racing in 2010 in Turismo Libre Uruguayo, through his aunt who produced the series' television package. At the sixth round of the series he crashed and broke his leg, and sat out the rest of the season.
