2021 Sun Belt Conference Football Season
The 2021 Sun Belt Conference football season was the 21st season of college football play for the Sun Belt Conference. The season began September 2, 2021 and concluded with its championship game on December 4, 2021. It was part of the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Sun Belt Conference consists of 10 football members split into two divisions. The conference released its schedule on March 1, 2021. Previous season The 2020 season saw 2020 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team, Coastal Carolina win the East Division, while 2020 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team, Louisiana won the West Division. The 2020 First Responder Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 26, 2020, with kickoff at 3:30 p.m. EST (2:30 p.m. local CST) on ABC. It was the 11th edition of the First Responder Bowl, and was one of the 2020–21 bowl games concluding the 2020 FBS football season. Demetrius Latron Taylor (born May 27, 1999) is an American football defensive tackle for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Appalachian State.
