The 2021 Orléans Masters was a badminton tournament which took place at Palais des Sports in France from 23 to 28 March 2021 and had a total purse of $75,000. Tournament The 2021 Orléans Masters was the first Super 100 tournament of the 2021 BWF World Tour and also part of the Orléans Masters championships, which had been held since 2012. Palais Des Sports (Orléans)
Palais des Sports (English: ''Palace of Sports'') is an indoor arena, indoor sports complex in the city of Orléans, France. The capacity of the arena is 3,222 people. This is the arena use by the resident club of Saran Loiret Handball. Until 2023, it was an arena used by the LNB Pro B, French Pro B League professional basketball team Orléans Loiret Basket, Orléans Loiret Basket. BWF Tour Super 100
The BWF World Tour is a Grade 2 badminton tournament series, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It is a competition open to the top world ranked players in singles (men's and women's) and doubles (men's, women's and mixed). The competition was announced on 19 March 2017 and came into effect starting from 2018, replacing the BWF Super Series, which was held from 2007 to 2017. The BWF World Tour are divided into six levels, namely World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, and Super 300 in order (part of the HSBC World Tour). One other category of tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 level, also offers ranking points. Cheam June Wei ( zh, t=詹俊為, p=Zhān Jùnwéi; born 23 January 1997) is a Malaysian badminton player. Ygor Coelho De Oliveira
Ygor Coelho de Oliveira (; born 24 November 1996) is a Brazilian badminton player. He won the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships six times in the boys' singles and four times in the mixed doubles event with Lohaynny Vicente. Oliveira placed 27th in the world junior ranking and went on to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. He won his first senior international title at the 2014 Puerto Rico International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and became the first Brazil's male Olympic badminton player. The Alap (; ) is the opening section of a typical North Indian classical performance. It is a form of melodic improvisation that introduces and develops a raga. In dhrupad singing the alap is unmetered, improvised (within the raga) and unaccompanied (except for the tanpura drone), and started at a slow tempo. Prannoy Haseena Sunil Kumar (born 17 July 1992), also known as H. S. Prannoy, is an Indian badminton player who currently trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad. Kunlavut Vitidsarn (; simply known as View (); born 11 May 2001) is a Thai badminton player who became the first Thai to become No.1 in men's singles.
