2021 FAI Cup Final
The 2021 FAI Cup Final, known as the 2021 Extra.ie FAI Cup Final for sponsorship reasons, was the final match of the 2021 FAI Cup, the national association football cup of the Republic of Ireland. The match took place on Sunday 28 November at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, and was contested by St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians. St Patrick's Athletic captained by Ian Bermingham won the game 4–3 on penalties after a 1–1 draw in which both Chris Forrester and Rory Feely scored against their former clubs. Prematch St Patrick's Athletic were looking to win their fourth FAI Cup after winning in 1959, 1961, and 2014. Bohemians were looking to win their eight FAI Cup after winning in 1927–28, 1934–35, 1969–70, 1975–76, 1991–92, 2000–01, 2008. 2021 FAI Cup
The 2021 FAI Cup was the 101st edition of the Republic of Ireland's primary national cup competition. This edition features teams from the League of Ireland Premier Division and the First Division, as well as non-league teams. The competition is to begin with qualifying on the week ending 11 July 2021. The winners of the FAI Cup earns automatic qualification for the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. Qualifying round The draw for the qualifying round took place on 14 June 2021. A total of 18 teams were in the qualifying round draw. Vítězslav Jaroš (born 23 July 2001) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liverpool of the . Keith Ward (footballer)
Keith Ward (born 12 October 1990) is an Irish association football player who plays as a midfielder for League of Ireland club Dundalk. Ward began his professional career at UCD before moving to the Lilywhites for the first of three spells. He made his debut for Bohemians in 2012. Ward moved on from Bohemians to have spells at Sligo Rovers and Derry City respectively, before returning to Bohs for the 2017 season. Ward joined a select number of Bohemian players when he scored in an away tie in European competition against Hungarian side Fehérvár during Bohs UEFA Europa League qualifier in 2020. St Patrick's Athletic Football Club ( ga, Cumann Peile Lúthchleas Phádraig Naofa) is a professional Irish association football club based in Inchicore, Dublin, that plays in the Irish Premier Division.
