Individual Individual Championship The 2021 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2021 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship. As in 2020, the final was staged over a single round at the Vojens Speedway Center. For the second year in a row, the title was won by Anders Thomsen, who beat Nicki Pedersen, Leon Madsen and Kenneth Bjerre. Each rider competed in five rides, with the four top scorers racing in an additional heat. The points from the additional heat were then added to the previous score from the five riders. The winner was the rider who accumulated the most points in all of their rides, and not the rider who won the additional heat. Michael Jepsen Jensen
Michael Jepsen Jensen (born 18 February 1992) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Career He was part of the 2010 Under-21 World Cup winning Denmark team. He also won the 2012 Nordic Speedway Grand Prix becoming the 1st wildcard to have won a GP meeting since Hans Andersen. In November 2012 he won the Individual Under-21 World Championship. In 2022, he helped Smederna win the Swedish Speedway Team Championship during the 2022 campaign. Emil Breum Ankersen (born 16 January 2002) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Breum reached the final of the 2021 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. In 2022, he won the bronze medal in the Danish U21 Championship. He rides in the Danish Speedway League for Esbjerg Vikings (2022 to 2023) and in the Polish Polish Speedway First League for Poznań (2022). Benjamin Basso (born 2 July 2001) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Speedway career Basso, who was a World Youth champion was signed by Poole Pirates during the SGB Championship 2021 season as a replacement for Ondřej Smetana, who had failed to join the team due to travel issues. The move contributed to a highly successful season for the Pirates as they won the league and Knockout Cup double. In 2022, he rode for the Peterborough Panthers in the SGB Premiership 2022 and for the Glasgow Tigers in the SGB Championship 2022. Emil Pørtner (born 20 April 2000) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Pørtner rides in three of the four top speedway leagues. In 2022, he rode in his native Denmark for Grindsted, who compete in the Danish Speedway League. Tim Sørensen (born 14 May 2000) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Speedway career Sørensen came to prominence during the 2020 season when he was part of the Danish team that won the silver medal at the 2020 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. The following year he was once again selected by Denmark for the event and won the silver medal again at the 2021 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship
The Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship is a competition for riders who are under the age of 21, holding a Danish passport and a valid DMU licence. The competition was first staged in 1960 and was won by Jorgen Hoffman. Although there was no competition in 1961, the event returned in 1962 and has been staged every year since. Claus Vissing
Claus Vissing (born 6 June 1986) is a Danish speedway rider. Career Vissing made his British league debut for Stoke Potters in the 2007 Premier League speedway season before joining Peterborough Panthers for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. In 2010, he rode in the top tier of British Speedway, riding for Ipswich Witches during the 2010 Elite League speedway season. The following season in 2011, he signed for Birmingham Brummies but soon moved on to Somerset Rebels for 2012.
