2021 Charlotte Edwards Cup
The 2021 Charlotte Edwards Cup, initially named the 2021 Women's Regional T20, was the first edition of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition took place between 26 June and 5 September 2021. It featured eight teams playing in two double round-robin groups, followed by a Finals Day. South East Stars won the tournament, beating Northern Diamonds in the final. The tournament ran alongside the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. Background and format With the ending of the Women's Cricket Super League in 2019, the England and Wales Cricket Board intended to launch a new regional structure for domestic women's cricket in England and Wales, including a 50-over competition, a Twenty20 competition and The Hundred. 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. Durham Women Cricket Team
The Durham Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Durham. They play their home games at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, having previously used various grounds across the county, including Green Lane Cricket Ground, Durham and Park Drive, Hartlepool. They competed in the Women's County Championship from 2001 to 2019 and in the Women's Twenty20 Cup from 2009 to 2019. Yorkshire Women Cricket Team
The Yorkshire Women's cricket team is the women's cricket team for the English historic county of Yorkshire. They play their home games at Headingley Stadium, Leeds, and are captained by Lauren Winfield-Hill. As of the start of the 2025 season Yorkshire Women will play their cricket in Tier 2 of the new division set up after Project Darwin. In 2026 they will move up to Tier 1 of the new division. The Lincolnshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Lincolnshire. They play their home matches at various grounds across the county, and are captained by Lauren Tuffrey. The Leicestershire Women's cricket team, officially the Leicestershire and Rutland Women's cricket team since 2010, is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. The Blaze, previously known as Lightning, are a women's cricket team that represent the county of Nottinghamshire in English domestic women's cricket. Previously The Blaze represented the wider East Midlands region, in a regionalised structure from 2020 to 2024.
