The 2021 Asia Rugby Sevens Series Trophy also known as the 2021 Asia Rugby Sevens Series qualification or the 2021 West Asia Sevens was the qualification tournament for the 2021 Asia Rugby Sevens Series, the winner of which would qualify for the event as the eighth team. The 2021 Asia Rugby Sevens Series was the first Asian Sevens event to be held since 2019. And was itself a qualification event for the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens. The Lebanese Rugby Union Federation, a national sports association based in Beirut, is the governing body for rugby union in Lebanon. The origins of the game in the country date back to at least 1995 with the formation of the Beirut Phoenicians club, but it was not until 2005 that the Lebanese Ministry of Sport officially recognized it as a sport. The Iran Rugby Association ( fa, انجمن راگبی ایران) is the national governing body for the sport of rugby union in Iran. Its role is to serve as the national governing body charged with achieving and maintaining high levels of quality in all aspects of rugby. The Rugby, Cricket, Baseball, and Softball Association of the Islamic Republic of Iran was founded in 1993 as a baseball, softball, cricket and rugby union federation. The United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation, or UAE Rugby, is the governing body for rugby union in United Arab Emirates. It organises and oversees local rugby, including the annual Dubai Sevens and Dubai Women's Sevens. It became affiliated to World Rugby (then known as IRB) and Asia Rugby in 2012 as a full status member.
