2020–21 UAE Division 1
2020–21 UAE Division one was the 44th Division one season. Since last season was cancelled and no promotion was rewarded, there were no team changes taken place this season. UAE Division One
UAE First Division League is the second tier of football league competition in the United Arab Emirates. As of 2020–21, the league features 15 sides who play each other in a home and away round-robin format, with a total of 28 games for each team. The top two sides gain promotion to the UAE Pro-League. On 29 May 2019, UAEFA announced that a UAE Second Division League to be established with smaller clubs, privately owned clubs, football academies with semi-professional teams compete for promotion to UAE Division one. On 6 July 2022, UAEFA announced that the number of participants will increase to 17 teams for the 2022–23 season. An increase of 2 teams, promoted from the UAE Second Division, and no relegation for UAE First Division clubs from the 2021–22 season, in an expansion season. Al Jeer
Al Jeer is the name of a settlement in Northern Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Once a sleepy village, Al Jeer today is a major port and marina and a busy thoroughfare between the UAE and the Omani exclave of Musandam. Al Jeer Port The port at Al Jeer operates both as a commercial port and as a yacht club and marina. The Barasti Sailing Club is based at the Marina and is accredited by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The clubhouse is fully licensed and leisure facilities include an outdoor education centre, which can accommodate groups of up to 100, including overnight stays. The commercial port specialises in livestock shipping and includes quarantine facilities. Al Hamriyah
Al Hamriyah is the name of a coastal settlement of Sharjah on the northern perimeter of the United Arab Emirates. It is one of nine municipalities of the emirate, and is wedged between the emirates of Ajman (south) and Umm Al Qawain (north). It is notable for its lagoon popular with pleasure boaters and jet skiers as well as local fishermen who moor here, as well as storing and repairing both rope and wire mesh fishing nets. The village is not to be confused with the Hamriyah Port and Free Zone, which lie immediately to the south of it. Dhaid
Dhaid, or Al Dhaid ( ar, ٱلذَّيْد, Adh-Dhayd), is the capital of the Central Region of the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. An oasis town, it has extensive irrigated date palm plantations with water channelled from the nearby Hajar mountains, at least in part through ancient tunnels dug for that purpose, known as '' aflāj'' in Arabic (''falaj'' in the singular). Dhaid has long occupied a strategic location in the mouth of the important Wadi Siji. History and prehistory An archaeological site discovered here in 2015 shows evidence of habitation by humans going back hundreds of thousands of years to the Stone Age.
