2020–21 Super50 Cup
The 2020–21 Super50 Cup was the 47th edition of the Super50 Cup, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament took place in February 2021 in Antigua and Barbuda. Six teams competed in the tournament – Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. The West Indies Emerging Team won the previous edition of the competition. On 15 June 2020, CWI held a players' draft for the 2020–21 tournament. The draft took place across two rounds, with each team signing a minimum of fifteen players. In December 2020, Cricket West Indies confirmed that the United States, Canada, Combined Campuses and Colleges and the West Indies Emerging Team would not be taking part in the tournament. Cricket West Indies
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly Commonwealth Caribbean, English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. Jason Holder
Jason Omar Holder (born 5 November 1991) is a Barbadian cricketer and the former captain of the West Indies cricket team. He is a right arm medium-fast bowling all-rounder who features in all three cricketing formats. In January 2019, he was ranked as the number one all rounder in the world according to the official ICC Test rankings. In August 2019, Cricket West Indies named him as the Test Player of the Year and on 14 April 2021, Holder was named one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year. Holder is the first West Indian male cricketer to take a hat-trick in a T20I, and the fifth, to achieve both 2000 runs and 100 wickets in one day internationals. Akeem Jordan (cricketer)
Akeem Jordan (born 18 October 1994) is a West Indian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Combined Campuses and Colleges in the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament on 4 October 2018. In the semi-final of the tournament, he took a five-wicket haul against Trinidad and Tobago to help Combined Campuses and Colleges progress to the final. He made his Twenty20 debut on 15 September 2019, for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, in the 2019 Caribbean Premier League. The following month, he was named in the Combined Campuses' squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. Shai Hope
Shai Diego Hope (born 10 November 1993) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the West Indies cricket team. He is also the current ODI &T20I captain of the Windies. In June 2018, he was named the Men's Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies' Awards. Kyle Antonio Hope (born 20 November 1988) is a Barbadian cricketer who has played for both Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago in West Indian domestic cricket, as well as the Combined Campuses and Colleges. Chemar Holder
Chemar Keron Holder (born 3 March 1998) is a Barbadian cricketer who has played for the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket. A right-arm fast bowler, he made his List A debut for the team in January 2016, against the Leeward Islands in the 2015–16 Regional Super50. Keon Harding (born 1 November 1996) is a Barbados, Barbadian cricketer. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in January 2021. Justin Pierre Greaves (born 26 February 1994) is a Barbadian cricketer who has played for both Barbados and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket. Roston Chase
Roston Lamar Chase (born 22 March 1992) is a Barbadian cricketer who plays for the West Indies and Barbados. An all-rounder, he is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. In July 2017, he was named Cricketer of the Year and Test Cricketer of the Year by the West Indies Players' Association.
