The 2020–21 RC Strasbourg Alsace season was the club's 115th season in existence and the fourth consecutive season in the top flight of French football. In addition to the domestic league, Strasbourg participated in this season's edition of the Coupe de France. The season covered the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. RC Strasbourg Alsace
Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, commonly known as RC Strasbourg (, ; RCS) or simply just Racing, is a football in France, French professional association football club founded in 1906 and based in the city of Strasbourg, Alsace. It became a professional club in 1933, and is currently playing in Ligue 1, the top tier of Football in France, French football, having won the 2016–17 Ligue 2 championship. This comes after the club was demoted to the fifth tier of French football at the conclusion of the 2010–11 Championnat National season after going into financial liquidation. Frédéric Georges Claude Auguste Guilbert (; born 24 December 1994) is a French professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Italian club Lecce. A product of the Caen youth system, he has played mainly in France for AS Cherbourg, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, as well as a spell with English side Aston Villa. is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for J1 League club Júbilo Iwata. Kawashima played in Japan for Omiya Ardija, Nagoya Grampus Eight and Kawasaki Frontale before joining Lierse S.K. in Belgium in 2010. Sanjin Prcić (; born 20 November 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in France, he played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Prcić started his professional career at Sochaux, before joining Rennes in 2014. He was sent on loan to Torino in 2015 and to Perugia in 2016. Lebogang Mothiba (born 28 January 1996) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a striker for South African Premiership club Mamelodi Sundowns. He made his professional debut in 2017 for Ligue 2 side Valenciennes, whilst on loan from Lille, before returning to his parent club the following year.
