2020 V.League 2
The 2020 V.League 2 (referred to as LS V.League 2 for sponsorship reasons) is the 26th season of V.League 2, Vietnam's second tier professional football league. The season began on 5 June 2020 and finished on 31 October 2020. For this season, there is only 1 promotion and 1 relegation spots due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the league will be expand to 14 clubs since the 2021 season. Vietnamese First Division
V.League 2 or Vietnamese National Football First League, ( vi, Giải Bóng đá Hạng Nhất Quốc Gia Việt Nam), also called LS V.League 2 for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier professional association football league in Vietnam controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football. V.League 2 has 12 teams competing in this season. Format Initially the V.League 2 comprised 14 clubs. Starting in the 2022 season, only 12 teams will participate in the V.League 2. Over the course of a season, clubs play a two-leg round-robin format over 22 rounds with a total of 132 matches. The club finishing at the bottom of the league table will be relegated to the Vietnam League Two while the top 2 clubs will be promoted to the V.League 1. The 2020 Vietnamese National Football Second League is the 22nd season of the Vietnamese National Football Second League. The season began on 10 July. Teams 15 sides compete in the 2020 season, split into two groups, A and B, of 7 and 8 respectively. ''Group A'' ''Group B'' Personnel and kits League tables Group A Group B Ranking of last-placed teams Due to the difference of teams between the 2 groups, results of the matches between the last-placed team in group B and the group B winners will not be counted. Final stage Semi-finals Winners are awarded as co-champions and promoted to the 2021 V.League 2. Losers enter the promotion final match. Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu Province
Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu ) is a province of Vietnam. It is located on the coast of the country's Southeast region. It also includes the Côn Đảo islands, located some distance off Vietnam's southeastern coast. An Giang () is a province of Vietnam. It is located in the Mekong Delta, in the southwestern part of the country. Geography An Giang occupies a position in the upper reaches of the Mekong Delta.
